ENEOS×MOGU Children’s
Story Award

ENEOS Group has been sponsoring “ENEOS x MOGU Children’s Story Award” since 2018, which is a contest for children’s stories that began as an event commemorating the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Vietnam.

In 2018, the first year of the contest, which was the first creative children’s story contest in Vietnam, we received more than 250 entries among the three categories of elementary school, junior high school and others. Since then, we have held the contest annually. In 2023, the number of entries increased to more than 3,000.

Judges who are from publishers in Vietnam, author from Japan, select the winning works each year. All of the winning works are compiled with professional artworks, and published as “Bouquet of Children’s Stories” a picture book for children. This book is bought by companies who support our activities, as well as selected book shops. The sales of “Bouquet of Children’s Stories” are donated to fund encouraging book-reading culture in Vietnam and scholarships.

The first prize winner of the contest is invited to attend “ENEOS Children’s Story Award” ceremony held in Tokyo, Japan. In 2019, winners from 2018 and 2019 contest enjoyed their first trip to Japan. During their trip, they also visited publisher in Japan, and had a wonderful experience surrounded by picture book works from all over the world.
ENEOS Group is committed to supporting the growth of picture books in order to foster healthy minds among children in Vietnam.
